Signs Direct was approached by the NHS to provide signage at the newly constructed Newark Health Centre. We were able to draw on the experience of past Health Centre projects such as Clifton, Balderton, Stapleford, Hyson Green, and Carlton to provide a comprehensive schedule of signs.  These included: the Main Entrance, Door identity signs, Way-finding directories and suspended signs, Braille and tactile toilet plaques, Fire exit and Safety signs.

The schedule and quotation were accepted and our ability to meet the tight completion deadline ensured that the order was placed.

We were able to design, manufacture and install the signs including some last minute additions within the required time frame, and received positive feedback from our client.

Our New Website

We are delighted to announce the launch of our new website-designed by Core 13.

This comprehensive site allows us to show the wide range of products and services developed over the last 14 years

One feature is our on-line safety sign catalogue, with its page turning feature making it easier than ever for customers to find essential signs, to keep their premises safe and within current health and safety legislation, whether it be Mandatory, Safe Condition, Warning or Prohibition Signs

We have an extensive picture gallery showing the diverse range of products we manufacture and supply including Cut-out lettering, Banners, A Boards, NHS Signage, Shop Fascias, Traffic Signs, Engraving and Corporate Identity re-branding.

Our product range is now at its most diverse since the company launch in 1996. Our products page shows signs made from Plastics including Rigid PVC and Acrylic. Metals including Aluminium, Stainless Steel and Brass. Timber and hybrid materials such as aluminium composite. 

Bentley Bridge

We have recently completed a contract at Bentley Bridge Shopping Centre in Wolverhampton

The site has had three replacement "Totem" style signs erected. Our brief was to add graphics for each of the retail tenants on the park, including Dorothy Perkins, Boots, Next, Argos and Burtons to name a few.

The challenge of this installation was access, as two of the totems were 7 metres high and in a very busy location, we overcame this using a cherry picker from Platform Hire.

We removed the blank acrylic panels and applied vinyl graphics using a mobile laminator, a challenging procedure to achieve on site, however the operation went very smoothly. I was very pleased with the end results.
